    Hi guys,

Can someone tell me what the possible problems/issues there could be with getting a tattoo over a scar. They are scars from acne, not too deep but a quiete a lot of them across my back/shoulder blades,

I presume it might be a little more painful than over perfectly healthy skin but other than that?

And does anyone know someone who has done this?

Won't present a problem might need to be touched up over them as the needle mightn't go far enough in.

don't see why it would cause a problem, but you should talk to a tattooist about it,just so you hear it from the horses mouth ,so to speak!

    Thanks a million lads,

Could anyone suggest where would be a good place to go in dublin to let them have a look, someone who's polite and not gonna comment in a smart arse way about them?

Would that not be any professional who wants your money?
I'd be very surprised if any tattoo artist would do this apart from the fact that they could expect a box in the head for it, it's not great customer service really is it?

I'd suggest heading in to Zulu tattoo in Temple Bar and let them have a look.

It would but its like getting a car repaired or any business, one person may give a very different answer than the next..... And if you know nothing about it then its handier to ask people that do!!

    Cheers, I'l check out Zulu
