Ok we have had riffs (and while we await the inevitable 'basslines' thread) what are your favourite drum tracks? Mine would be:

Wow that was weird i was listening Black Sabbath - Rat Salad thinking about how it was such a good and crazy drum track,and i thought to myself i should start a thread on Boards about Fav drum track

Chimaira - Inside The Horror

Machine Head - Davidian
Pantera - Cowboys from Hell

I'm a particular fan of any of Tool's stuff but I really, really like Ticks and Leeches in particular. I love the drums in Moya by Godspeed You! Black Emperor too. They fit in really well with the rest of the song.
Have to say I agree with the songs suggested by other people so far too!

Generally anything by Amon Amarth, particularly "Burning Creation" and "Friends of the Suncross".

Well to be honest ANY Rush track is worth listening to drumming wise the drumming is always soo damm good...at a push:
Tom Sawyer - monster grrove, slick technique , awsome power fills
YYZ - All over techinical wizzardry
La Villa Strangiato - same as above!
2112 Overture - the first music that made me wanna play drums!
Big Money- all round switches from acoustic and electronic percussion and all out hard rock attack on kit!

I could go on and on but I won't!

Sympton Of The Universe B Sabbath

...yess their best drummer tho was the guy during stained class and killing machine - Les Binks - no one remembers him...but I DO!.seen him with them that time massive kit and an excellent player, way better than anyone thy had since. They also used the brilliant Simon Phillips on other album before that called "sin after sin" now he has always been a serious drummer
