Meteor problems & nokia 3200 unlocking

Have a Nokia 3200 prepaid meteor phone, it has a few annoying habits like occassionally receiving texts hours after they were sent and sending calls straight to voicemail without ringing, also calls breaking up. Have an old vodafone sim and am considering going back to that - would there be much difficulty in unlocking a nokia 3200 from meteor?

any advice appreciated.
