City West Golf club membership

Hi there,

does anybody know anything about becoming a member of the City west golf club? I know that they have a few different schemes available and I was wondering about the various costs/what is offered?

You can join the Lakes course, the Championship course, or both.

I have heard (third hand) that it's not great for competitions, but that mightn't bother you.

the membership options are below, you don't join one or other or both, you
join the 'club' and the different option you pick gets you different rates:

G.U.I or I.L.G.U Handicap and smart card
Weekly Members Competitions
A Full Social Calendar
Golf Insurance
Access to all G.U.I Open competitions in Ireland
No Joining Fee

Membership Options

Platinum
Play The Championship course 7 days a week
Play The Lakes course 7 days a week
Cost 1600 euros

Gold
Play The Lakes course 7 days a week
Play The Championship course 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday)
Cost 1100 euros

Silver
Play The Lakes course 7 days a week
Cost 750 euros

Bronze
7 day membership - Special Green fee rates for playing The Lakes course
Cost 400 euros
