    :)

finally got around to getting BF2.

    a few things :

    #1 :
tried it on my lappy. Installs fine. Menus load. Can select SP or MP local server. Level loads.
but once I hit "Join Game", it freezes indefinitly.

is the m9000 in my lappy not able for the game?

    #2 :
the only ways to gain rank is via online Ranked servers correct?
but you can edit a file to unlock the weapons for use in the SP?
Does that incl. local server games you create??

    thanks.

/me cant wait for BB to arrive.

If you want to go up the ranks you have to play on ranked servers. If you were at a lan you can have all the weapons unlocked.

There are people with gfx cards that they bought a few years ago that are unable to play the game.

I really, really doubt that your card could handle it.

You can add the vanilla Radeon X800 PCI-E to that list, it works just fine on mine.
