Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This popped into my head the other day when reading back through the Dell 9100 pricing.

I have an Acer ferrari 3400. I've upgraded the ram to Corsair XMS DDR400 and popped a 60k 7,200RPM hitachi drive into it.

I'm just wondering what a Lappy like this would fetch now, especially considering that the New Ferrari is out (worth the extra cash for specs?)

    3400lmi XP Home.

    Its basically
    low-power Mobile Athlon 64 3000+ clocked at 2.0GHz with 512KB L2 cache and 35W TDP
1GB Corsair XMS DDR 400 (Added to machine, not a stock option)
60GB Hitachi 7,200 RPM drive (Added to machine, not a stock option)
    ATI Mobility 9700 128MB
    VIA ProSavage K8T800

The 3400lmi home works out at approx €1,821.35 (£1244 according to http://www.acernotebooks.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_Ferrari_3400LMi_XP_Home_LX.FR305.002/version.asp )

So I am guessing about €1100 - €1300 for a second hand one, depending on age.

Was bought in January of this year.

Eep, didn't think it would be worth that little...

Next question is would anyone pay that for it.

Problem there is that similar laptops can be got for between 1400-1600, with full guarantees, example would be the Lidl one for sale recently for €1499
    Targa Traveller 826T.

Best thing to do is go to the computer for sale section, give specs and put a good guide price on it. See what offers you get.
