Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help with files and settings transfer wizard

I'm reinstalling windows xp on my desktop, so I ran the files and settings transfer wizard and saved the transfer folder on and external hard drive. I've now reinstalled windows xp, and am trying to run the wizard again to transfer my files and settings, but when I get to the screen where the wizard wants to know where the transfer folder is, I point it to the correct folder, but it then says
'The location you specified does not contain stored information.
Please type a valid folder path into the edit box'

Now, the folder DOES contain information, the folder is named 'USMCT2.UNC' and it is 6.81gig in size. It contains 4 DAT files and another file named 'status'.....

I've tried google but details are pretty sketchy, it seems to be a problem that other people have had, but I'm coming up short on answers....

    Any ideas?

Sorted.... I had an old transfer wizard file on disk from a couple of years ago, I took the 'status' file out of that and put it in a new file with all the DAT files from the new tranfser wizard.... Then I ran the transfer wizard on that new file, it's working fine now, so if anyone has the same problem, the problem seems to be with the 'status' file within the file that's created when you run the wizard....

EDIT: Nope, spoke too soon, got halfway through and came up with an error message.... So, back to square one, anyone got any ideas?
