    Just gotten an email from BT;
    BT Broadband monthly rental will fall from €39 per month to just €32.50 per month. Broadband Plus monthly rental will fall from €47 per month to just €42.50 per month. New prices will be on your next bill. And the savings don’t end there, if you become an online billing customer you will receive a further discount of €2.50 per month.

    Here's a copy of the email,

    BT Broadband monthly rental will fall from €39 per month to just €32.50 per month. Broadband Plus monthly rental will fall from €47 per month to just €42.50 per month. New prices will be on your next bill. And the savings don’t end there, if you become an online billing customer you will receive a further discount of €2.50 per month.

    If you have BT Talk, you will continue to get your line rental discounted to €10 per month.

    Was wondering what that was, SpamAssassin dropped it because it had a script in it. Duh.

    So there's no price change for the BB+Line Rental deal? Booo. Still the best deal outside of Smart/NTL anyway.

    How old is that email? BT reduced their prices since the ~11th of july.

    That's when the new packages were anounced for new customers. That email is informing existing customers of the decrease. It only came into effect for us this month with the new billing run.
    €32.50 + €10 (line rental) - €2.50 (online billing) = €40.00 :D

    If they don't drop the price by the same amount I'll be very surprised. And noisy.

    They're just standardising pricing. the 'deal' element of BB+Line Rental deal is that your rental is discounted to €10.
