Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aston Villa v Bolton, - I think draw, but wouldn't be suprised to see Bolton nick it
Everton v Man Utd, - I think after the CL disappointment, which must be massive, United can take this game. We need to start well, which we never ever do, so big big big game for us
    Fulham v Birmingham, - Brum
Man City v West Brom, - City
    Middlesbrough v Liverpool, - Draw
    Portsmouth v Tottenham, - Spurs
    Sunderland v Charlton, - Draw
West Ham v Blackburn, - West Ham, I think they will actually suprise people
Arsenal v Newcastle, - Arsenal, and I hope they win too. The only team I like less in the premierhsip is Newcastle :) G'wan the gunners, lets send em down
Wigan v Chelsea, - Chelsea should walk this

TBH I've reached saturation point with the Sky Sports coverage. I remember 5 years ago when I was really excited about the opening weekend of the Premiership season.

Last year and especially this year I dont give a ****. I will definately keep an interest but its all a bit much.

Or maybe I'm getting too old. :o

Aston Villa v Bolton - villa
Everton v Man Utd, - ManU, don't think everton can repeat last year
    Fulham v Birmingham, - toss a coin - draw
Man City v West Brom, - probably city
Middlesbrough v Liverpool, - in form Morientes to help liverpool win
Portsmouth v Tottenham, - gonna be a good year for spurs - start with a win
Sunderland v Charlton, - Sunderland off to a flyer (with la tallec)
West Ham v Blackburn, - Draw - to poor sides
Arsenal v Newcastle, - arsenal should win this easy - if not gonna be a tough year.
Wigan v Chelsea, - Chelsea to win by cricket score

Oopening day results are really unpredictable.

    Def. not a betting medium.

I remember Ravevelli(the white feather) getting an opening day hatrick for the 'Boro and Brian Deane  of course!!! scoring the 1st ever Premiership goal.

Aston Villa v Bolton - Made for a draw I think.
Everton v Man Utd - After the contrasting European results, I think United.
Fulham v Birmingham - Hard to call, but with Forsell and Pandiani the new strike-force I think Brum.
Man City v West Brom - A draw I think, I think West Brom will be tougher this year.
Middlesbrough v Liverpool - I'm going for a sneaky away win. I say sneaky because I think it will be really close. Boro may have lost Zenden, but they have the Yak now.
    Portsmouth v Tottenham - Spurs.
Sunderland v Charlton - Charlton are facing an injury crisis, I'm going for a Sunderland win.
West Ham v Blackburn - A draw I think, Blackburn showed how tough they are to beat last season.
Arsenal v Newcastle - Arsenal. I think Newcastle have a great new central midfield partnership but still not nearly enough quality to match Arsenal.
