    Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone's had any experience returning an item to dabs. I had ordered a Zen Nano Plus off them but it was taking so long to come into stock that yesterday morning I cancelled the order. In the interim I ordered off Pixmania. Then yesterday evening I get an email from Dabs saying they've sent out my order! Will I be able to return it and get a full refund or would I be better just selling it on. (Pixmania don't appear to have an option for cancelling the order  )

Should be no problem as long as you don't open the item. You will have a cooling off period in which you can return the item. Send them an email and tell them that your returning it. You'll have to cover the shipping cost though.

Thanks for that. I suppose the shippping won't be too expensive?

I'd use the cheapest An Post option myself.

My feelings on Dabs are probably well known at this stage.. but Dingatron what awful advice to give to somebody you don't know.. shocking. Moredith, depending on when you cancelled, you could try emailing them and saying that you'd cancelled, using their recommended method "x business days" before the item was dispatched, and see. You could also refuse delivery when it comes (if you cancelled within a reasonable time before dispatch). Finally if you are posting, use insured (registered includes some basic insurance) post, because if the item goes missing (and you've taken Dingatron's advice), you're out of pocket.

I'd say (again, assuming you did cancel a reasonable amount of time before dispatch) just refuse the delivery.

Steady on there. Dabs had sent item so I advised emailing them stating that OP was sending back. Refusing delivery is a valid point if you yourself are taking delivery of the goods which is not often the case. By cheapest An Post option I meant Swift Post or the like but I was in a rush when replying to OP, I supose in hindsight I should have stated that rather than take for granted thats what OP would do. Not going to start a flame over this so I'll leave it at that. :-)
