    sorry this may be a dumb question but at the moment im running bf2 1.0
    i dont have the opportunity to play online really and am just playing the single player game and the codebashers co op 3.0 mod.
    when i run the co op mod im getting crashes maybe once a game so i was thinking of installing the patch but...
    is 1.2 any more stable than 1.0?
    and do i have to install 1.1 first?

    i think with the latest patch you can't join the zboard servers, not 100% sure though but i don't think the crashing is stopped in any way either

    Installing the 1.2 patch isn't a choice but something that you *have* to do.

    Out of the 6583 BF:2 servers, only 40 of them are running the 1.0 version.

    You don't have to install 1.1 first and get ready for 1.3 coming by the end of the month.
