also anyone remember me saying I was getting surface piercings in my wrists??well I didn't.....I got implants instead!! only person in Ireland to have them done!!

apparently skin deep(magazine) want a photo of them..but I had to go early today!!I'm so happy...took about an hour to do...2 in one wrist...damn nice though!and permanant!! fainted oncce...but I had no anestetic...so that was good gonig when you're having yourself scallepled open!!

The convention was pretty good though but I hate to say the best thing about the whole thing was the bathrooms,they rock:P

they ****ing kick ass...i love them....
230 euros for two, which is a good ****ing price....

irishcrazyhorse...i went up planning to get surface piercings on my wrists and when i was talking to paddy about it, he talked to me about implants...knew straight away i had to have them...went away and thought about it....talked to an old piercer of mine about them...decided i wanted them done....so went through with it...

i love them....they're unbelieveably beautiful....i'm still exstatic about them...i'll post pics of them at some stage...they got some bloody attention after wards though...i was dragged around showing so many people...!no anesetetic or anything, dunno how i did it!!

yeah...those bathrooms were popular alright, they were class out...heard so many people going on about them...
good venue though, wasn't it...

I would really love to see the pics of the work you got done as I am getting some extreme **** next month and would love to see some of the work that is been dopne in ireland at the moment as most of what i have seen has been done by outside artists

Went down to Cork for the weekend. Had a great time. The boyfriend got a tattoo by Stefan/Stephen from Triple X (Vienna?). Tis lovely - even if we did nearly miss the train back because of it! Didn't get any thing meself as I was pretty tired and not in the mood for getting tattooed.

Very cool Must have hurt like a mo fo though! the stitching is brilliant, very clean. Paddy is brilliant! Might consider something like that in the distant future. Are they healing ok?? Must be difficult to keep clean

Paddy's a gem...it did hurt...but for me, not as much as it looks...like usually they put people under anasestetic, but i wasn't...I have a really high high pain barrier, so it hurt, but I was able to handle it pretty well..I'd do it again.
yeah, they're healing ok...I'm taking the stitches out around tuesday,can't wait...getting a bit itchy now, but paddy said it was my tissues matting back together...still a little bruised and the first implant is a little more swollen and red then the second, but they're being pretty good...not too bad to keep clean...it's kinda vital i do anyway...they're weeping a lot, and getting crusty a bit, but its only to be expected i guess!!

I suppose it's a matter of taste, I personally dont like them, but then I really only like hidden piercings with a purpose that is more than decorative and another thing, I dont think piercers should be doing invasive procedures like that anyway.
Each to their own and good luck with them.

No offense to paddy but by the way he made the pockets was done wrong should of been with the grain of the muscle plus the pocket is far too big for the size of the implant this is quite crucial to healing. PS did he say about them settling in? when they've had a chance to heal they'll settle in and you'll need to get them leveled again.
