Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone got some suggestions for hats for guys to wear apart from the obvious baseball cap?

I ask because I have my hear shaved to a 0 blade and I feel that occasionally I should wear a cap/hat to cover it up during normal daily wear, but especially on those occasional sunny days that we get every once in a while.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    A beanie during the summer!?

you can wear beanies during the summer it's not like we get outstanding weather all the time.

since he has short hair i wouldn't imagine there be any sweating and a beanie is like enough, and will keep you warm in winter.

    deerstalkers or stfu!

i hate baseball caps with a passion, a nice knitted wool hat [not neccesarily a "beanie" btw] doesnt have to be too thick and heavy for daily summer wear, especialy with a blade 1 haircut...

peaked kangol caps can look pretty sweet depending on the rest of your clothes, depends on our style... they're not for everybody....

when i used to shave my head i wore a bandana in sunny weather to keep the sun off my head. worth thinking about.

those hip hop style head stockings are also really light and very comfortable to wear on a shaved head, again, not for everybody....

as long as you avoid baseball caps and trucker caps you're laughing! [bowler hats are also a bit off the radar these days - especially if you have to march down the queens highway in the course of a working day.... they make you look like a jarvey anyway imo]

black wooly hats, especially those 3M fashion disaster thermal hats are for council workers and binmen. its the 21st century, irish men are allowed to express themselves with colour [as long as it isnt pink]

Its all a matter of personal taste to be honest. But in general i dont think theres any great science to it.
If your looking for a hat head into town and stroll around the shops(not a **** hole chain store try the second hand shops around Georges street or the quays or Temple Bar) and try on any kind of hats you can find.
Youll find one that suits you over the course of a couple of hours.I dont see the point in saying "get a beanie, get a skull cap" or whatever cause hats are weird.Well.Peoples heads are weird.Everyone sees hats on mates or whatever that are class but then try them on and they look ridiculous.

Also these can look fantastic if you generally look messy, unshaven and generally like youve just woken up.You dont necessarily need a colourful hat to express yourself!
