Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

AA cover for going away with my classic

    Hi

    I was wondering if you can help me please regarding AA membership and the like.

    I am travelling over to Yorkshire for a classic car rally in September and will need to get temporary AA/RAC/Green Flag cover from while I am over there.

    I have looked at AA's 5* premium cover and it looks good at about €50 for the 6 days I am away. (Car will be brough back to Ireland if it breaks down & not able to be fixed by an AA garage)

    Anyone else had similar experience and what policy/type of cover did you go for.

    When I went to Switzerland last year I discovered that the AA didn't cover the continent directly, and that I would have to pay for my car to be brought home. :(

    Then I discovered that the free breakdown cover that comes with my insurance policy from Carol Nash provided all the cover I needed :)
