Boards.ie "I know The Score" predictions league - Week 1

So after the first week of EPL games how are you doing in the boards,ie score predictions league?

I did pretty well this week in that I got 3 of them exactly right and got points in others by predicting the right outcome.
Im in second at the moment with 13 points. How has your team done this week?

For those of you who don’t know what im talking about there is a game where you have to predict the score of each EPL game each week. You get points based on your predictions. A private boards.ie league has been set up and so far has 50 members in the league. I cant remember the link for the league right now because im in work so someone else might post it up for anyone who wants to join late

I was doing very well i the earlier matches, but slipped badly later on, only to recover a couple of points on Sunday. I think I have 8 or 9 pts.

Im not sure if you can still sign up to the boards.ie league though. The league might be limited to 50 people. You can still sign up to the overall main league though.

Pickarooney you should have been sent an email of the league table. You are in joint 15th place with 7 points.
Jimbling you are in joint 7th place with 9 points. I would post up a link to the league table but I don’t know how to do it.
Anyone else who wants to know where they are and doesn’t have the email just ask me.

Got the 2-0 with Man Utd correct. Also predicted Arsenal to win 2-0 and used my banker on them so got 6 points for that result. 12 points in total.

Not bad eirebhoy. I managed to get my banker right as well in that chelsea beat wigan 1-0. Left it kinda late for me though. I got the fulham 0-0 right as well and the spurs 0-2 right too so not a bad start.

How are people doing in this? I'm 2nd atm in the mini-league. I changed my Man City prediction to a City win today but it didn't get updated as it was too late. Got the Pompey-Villa result correct.

I suppose, 70th out of 47,000 entrants isn't bad. Makes up for my poor showing in the Fantasy Premier league.

Who's strikers21? He certanly knows his stuff. He got every outcome correct last week except Blacburn-Fulham which is good going considering there were 3 big suprises. This week he got the exact score correct in the Sunderland-Man City match and also predicted a Boro win. Nice one!

I was doing it until after my first weekend where I got one prediction right and came in at a staggering 44581st equal place
I'd do it if I didn't miss out on the boards mini-league.

Only about 20 signed up from Boards.ie, so the evening before the season started I clicked on the 'auto fill' button, which fed in another 30 players automatically .... so Strikers21 may not be 'one of our own'


As I am 'admin' on the league I can delete and invite members, so I could make room and delete a couple of the 'blow-ins'
