Ah wow, just wow, what a blast from the past!

Great conversion, how things have progressed from those days to having this sweet version load in seconds on a web browser, amazing.. :)

Thank for that link Hamster, sure wish you could get this on DS.

What a classic. I got this free on the cover cassette of one of the very last Commodore Format issues when they started to give away loads of classic games. Loved this game. Addictive despite being simple and a little short. There is a very similar game on the mega drive called sub terrania which is worth checking out.

The offline blitz version seems faithful to the original with a few extras. I like the way you can redefine the keys to the arrows key. More suitable for me.

I've played thrust deluxe a lot before. I like thrust, but I want someone to remake it with lots of extra bits. The dude-rescue was good. It'd also be really cool to see varying masses of klystron pod and varying ships with different masses and thrusts. Different planets with varying gravity and air density would be cool, too. Smarter baddies, too. And flying baddies!

Then there are tonnes of gameplay variations you can start throwing in on top... with some storyline and/or strategy elements thrown in, like a mission where you have to collect as much fuel as possible. And maybe you're flying a tanker with no weapons, but you have escorts to attack the baddies!

And the best yet... two player co-op where the klystron is too heavy to pick up by yourself, so you gotta both grab it and help each other get it out! drooltacular.

Damn, i always get frustrated playing these games that they're not living up to their standards :)

Sweet Jesus are you mad man! ;)

I find it hard enough without complicating it even further with all of the above. :D Simplicity is key to games like this, no changes for me thanks. :)
