    Anyone been into this place, Yellow Daze? Looks like they sell all kinds of bongs and such.

    Just what Dominic street needed to clean up it's act! Can't wait til the Advertiser catch wind of this! :rolleyes:

    Good ole Domick St. Casino, sex shop, strip club, dodgy fast food joints, the Roisin Dubh and now a head shop. Its either a cesspit of moral depravity or a little slice of heaven depending on your point of view.

    Well put :). I haven't seen this new shop yet. Whereabouts is it? Did it open in one of the closed units between Róisín Dubh and Beirhaus?

    I'm with Smart Telecom and have been for years. I'm on 7 Mbps for about 46 euro PM. However, I'm thinking about going with UPC because they offer more download speed for less money. The concerns I have though, with UPC, would be service and reliability. Both have been fine so far with ST.

    Sorry folks, I think I was picked up wrong, I meant wine as in alcohol not to whine. Anyone who is familiar with the lovely people behind the Emporer City Chinnese restaurant will get the joke, not what I guessed was an assumed rasicst remark that some people thought..

    Wow, the more I look at my original comment, if u didn't know that chinnese restaurant sold sh1t loads of wine, that seemed quite bad.I hope I've cleared it up though with the last two comments and will get my strike revoked.

    Rumour has in that they sell quite generous glasses of wine with your meal on Good Friday.

    Haven't needed this service myself though, so not sure if it's true.

    That was actually funny because as I was reading down I noticed the red card beside your first comment and I was wondering what the hell was that for?!? It does look bad though if you had no idea what you were on about!!! That Chinese should get an award, many a night they sorted us out and us dying of the thirst!!!;)

    Well i thought the same, but they sorted a bunch of us out the last day and a mate in Blue Note said they just had a bit of stock problems and survellaince problems,blah, blah, blah, but should be still going.

    P.s The only reason i qouted u Pablo, was because u were the last to comment on the topic. Thats all bud.

    Back to OT, has any1 been in the new place. What are the staff like. Bet they're not a patch on the chinnese, Am I right?:P

    I don't think it's closed but I think the Winese days may be over, I remember one night after the VOR the Gardai pulled up and took about 10 bottles of wine of people in the street outside and kebab house.. I'm fairly sure they know where it came from too ;)

    Well, the Enterprise Board turned down my business plan for 'a proper amsterdam weed shop in domonic street' & I'd made that very same point... so no one expect assistance from that particular quarter...

    i feel like i'm in an episode of father ted with all this talk of the chinese. first the comment possibly taken wrongly and now all this pro chinese sentiment.

    The new headshop on Dominick Street is called Mellow Daze. It has been open for almost three weeks. All the staff offer advice and information on a wide range of products. We also display art by local artists. It is located next door to Emperor City Chinese restaurant, across from the Roisin Dubh. All over 18's welcome
