Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Black tie wedding

Am going to a black tie wedding on New Years eve. I know every girl is supposed to have an evening dress in her wardrobe but i don't. I'm torn between getting something made, hiring a dress (but don't want a debs dress!) or buying one. Not going to Coast as was a wedding recently where i would say half of the girls had a coast outfit on. My budget would be 300 for the dress.i.e. shoes etc extra

So if anyone can recommend a dressmaker within that budget or a non-high st shop I would be grateful. willing to travel!

Try the Powerscourt centre on South William St. maybe.

I bought a corset type top and a matching long lenght skirt, which can be used as seperates for other occasions.
