    Hello.

    I was just wondering how important age difference is?

    I'm 19 and the person i'm seeing is 16. Is this a big deal?

    Does it matter which partner is older?

    im 19 in 2nd yr of college, would never go out with anyone just comin out of the junior cert.

    Three years is not that big of an age gap.
    Maturity is not measrued in years.
    But you will get a lot of comments passed.
    Plus you need to be careful of legal situations as the person you are seeing
    is a non consenting minor.

    When I started going out with my boyfriend, he was 16 and I was almost 19... still together five years later! :D All depends on the person of course but it can work. You might get lots of ribbing but maybe that's due to jealousy on the "ribsters" part?
