What do you do, wait for the riva TNT2 or buy the Voodoo3. When will the tnt2 be out btw?

Wow, that piece of crap going cheap smile.gif
Just kidding. If you want a 2d/3d card now, go for it. It's very fast and image quality an improvement over Voodoo2 but...

TNT2 looks great. The specs are way ahead of the Voodoo3. I'm very happy with what I have now (asus TNT) so I'll wait til all the major competitors' products are out in the shops before I upgrade. (S3 Savage4 looks good too). I'll probably go for a TNT2 and if I were you I'd wait before getting Voodoo3 if you already have a good graphics setup.

I gotta Voodoo3 a few days ago, (ordered from the US) for $100 smile.gif
Its fannnnnnnnntastic, I only have a P200MMX, but on Unreal, its performing about 10-20% better frame rate wise, plus its more software compatible than the TNT2 & TNT, e.g., what card does Tribes only support out of box, Vooodoo cards. Same with Unreal, Voodoo cards, & Power VR (yuck)
    Image quality is a excellent.
Oh, & check out my website why don't ya, you'll find out how to speed it up some more & other PC components smile.gif www.iol.ie/~mcguiret
Sorry, shameless plug, oh, my Voodoo2 is for sale as a result smile.gif

Ohh whoops, forgot to say, on the net, I've been looking at reviews of both of them, & in the vast majority, the Voodoo3 has come out on top, thats the Voodoo3 3000. the 2000 I'm not so sure about, but you can overclock it to the 3000's clock speed & beyond, think 200Mhz is the max the 2000PCI will go smile.gif
