One small glitch I noticed, I'm 21 so do I pick the 18-21 or 21-30 option :D. I'm feeling old today so the 21-30 I think.

the result of the netsource line test, linked to in the survey, comes up as blank if you have an 'amber'/'pass - subject to confirmation' line, maybe you should link to eircom/utv test instead ?

I've added a banner to the Foot.ie ad rotation, that should bring in a few.

    Done, and sig changed.

I'd like to have seen a question about upload speed though. Something like:
Are you aware of the difference betweek D/L and U/L speed?
    What is your upload speed?
Is your upload speed sufficient? - Yes/No/Don't Care
If it's not sufficient, what application of Broadband do you feel is being hampered?

It's probably too late to add this, but for next time maybe. I missed the trial run last night as I wasn't online.

    Some small things:

The page numbers on the survey seem to skip, for instance it jumped from page 5 to page 9.

Question 11 and 15 seem to be the same thing. Also both these questions say "line rent", wouldn't "line rental" be more correct?

Question 20, about the communications crisis, I don't really understand that question.

When you click Finish at the end of the survey, it takes you onto another page which has stuff about the IOFFL Dial Up Survey, this is a little confusion, it should really just thank you for completing the survey.

Good point, i'll put it in the to do list for the next survey (yes there is going to be one  )

Page numbers vary depending on the questions and your answers, the survey is adaptive. (in parts, other parts were getting to the point of sillyness so hence the If yes, type questions :o )

They are not quite the same and depending on whether you choose dialup/isdn or BB you may or may not be asked one of them.
Have a look in the testing thread I covered the reasoning why we did this.

Line rent v line rental, I'm not sure, any opinions anyone?

Finish page, I can set it to kick you to another URL, either here, ioffl website or maybe a special page on the ioffl website, again opinions?

Thanks for the fedback everyone, it does help.

770 surveys filled in now. Woot!

Just completed the survey, and overall it is pretty good. However I would say that some of the questions are leading. For example the last batch are all leading the user to say yes. It may have been better to ask the user to rate their belief on a scale of 1 to 5 or Completely Agree to Completely disagree.

    Just my 2c

    1000 surveyed!

I agree with Mr_Man, in the last questions are very leading

Questions 43-49, of course all the answers to the questions are yes. But I feel by answering them I'm helping someone else make a point and I can't help but feel that the answers to these SPECIFIC questions will be reproduced at a later date on someone's personal agenda.

Also you need to register to see the results, it prompts me for a username and password for overall results to stats I've helped to create!!

The results aren't available to view online yet. They will be published and the raw data made available when the survey ends.

There are many other people interested in the results of this survey, lets just say some of the results are surprising and interesting to say the least!

Even though I no longer live in Ireland and only visit on holiday, I filled it in anyway as I do sometimes use the internet at home when I'm there, so I filled it in on that basis.
