    NAMCO STEPS THROUGH THE STARGATE

Perception's game based on the TV show snapped up by Namco

10:17 Perception's Stargate SG-1: The Alliance videogame based on the hit TV show has been picked up by Namco following the severing of ties between Perception and former Stargate publisher JoWood.
A Namco product page for Stargate SG-1: The Alliance can be found here, with the game listed as an autumn release on PC, PS2 and Xbox.

Stargate SG-1: The Alliance is an FPS that finds players joining the ranks of the SG-1 team and attempting to nab hold of an ancient artefact before it falls into the hands of Anubis. There's plenty for fans of the TV series to get frothy over including voice acting from the cast of the show.

so maybe all is not lost

    wishful thinking
    Follow-up - Namco & Stargate [August 19, 2005, 09:40 am EDT] - Post a Comment
To follow-up on last night's report of a new publishing deal between Namco and Perception for Stargate SG-1: The Alliance (story). The webpage this was all based on reflected Namco's original role in the game's distribution, rather than any new arrangement, and apparently Namco's involvement in this project still hinges on the outcome of the original dispute between JoWooD and Perception (story and story). Apologies for any confusion the erroneous story caused.
