    Hey everyone,

I'm hoping ye can help me out.

I have tomcat setup on my machine.

I have a folder (testFolder) under webapps that is accessible when localhost/testFolder is entered into the browser.

I want the folder, testFolder, to be accessible when only localhost is entered into the browser. (in other works make the testFolder the ROOT folder for tomcat)

Could someone please give me an idea as to how I might do this??

    Thanks for your time,
    A.

in your $TOMCAT_HOME/conf/server.xml .. change your "webapps" path in your Host or Context (depending on your setup) to "webapps/testFolder"
