Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    PRODUCER / FILMMAKER REQUIRED
    **************************

    Are you an experienced Producer / Filmmaker with contacts and influence in the Irish TV/Film Industry?

    We're co-funding a series of projects based around the "Irish Pubs" theme and are conducting a search for an individual to act as our advisor whilst negotiating with Production Houses, Networks, Associations and Freelancers in Ireland and to liase with our unit in New York. The suitor will play a key part in assembling the TEAM and fleshing out the details/direction for the project.

    ****************************************************

    We're in the early stages of development for 3 related projects:

    *--> PROJECT A:
    A 3-part documentary film taking an in-depth look at the global phenomenon of the Irish Pub, where today we celebrate them as part of our cultural heritage and have exported the "Irish Pubs concept" and a "Céad Mile Fáilte" to almost every major city in the world. The film will explore the "life & times of Irish Pubs" by examining the history of; the exportation of; and the modernization of these fascinating establishments.

    *--> PROJECT B:
    A 52-minute documentary film about how Irelands pub-going smokers have adapted to life 'OUTSIDE' the Pub since the introduction of the controversial (and much applauded) Smoking Ban last year. The film will feature footage from four major cities: Dublin and New York where 'smoking bans' are in place, contrasted against London and Barcelona, where the more liberal 'self-regulation' is still being used.

    *--> PROJECT C:
    A DVD of video-mercials featuring footage, stories, music and commentaries on the "Top 500 Irish Pubs" from accross the world.

    We have assembled a network of key Irish Pubs, Trade Bodies, Irish Celebrities and most importantly STORIES in Ireland, the USA, the UK and Spain with an ongoing campaign to attract more.

    If you feel you have what's required for the position or know somebody suitable then please drop me a line off-list.

    Kind regards,
    Louise O'Neill
