Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The new artificial surface at Oriel park has passed FIFA inspection this morning.
Should be an excellent atmosphere on Friday night.

Dunfermline had an artificial pitch last season and every team that played there complained about it. Lets hope its better than that.

Your supposed to wear special boots on it, most players altho professional wouldnt change.

Was a good article on one of the Dunfermlin websites about it.
    Makes sense it is plastic.

Umbro make a nice pair for €40 or 50 in white :D

Great atmosphere? Hasn't the Shed been torn down? Which means the ground will be completely open apart from the Stand, which will be as usual full of old men in flat caps. I'd say there will be a crap atmosphere. Prediction 2-1 Drogheda.

let me guess them special boots are the ones with a million small little moulded rubber studs on them ? because if thats it I find normal boots are better on artificial pitches and christ they do burn the **** outta your legs when you amke slide tackles . (hopefully this pitch is different)
