I'm sure it's been done before but there's nothing like a classic battle of the two soft drink giants. But in this day of health awareness I've stuck in the diet drinks as well. Let's see who's the nations favourite........... :)

Pepsi of all varieties wins out. Especially Pepsi twist.

    Coke for thirst and rum.
    Pepsi for drinking with food.

Both served ice cold, but without ice.

Whatever comes to hand first or is cheaper.

If they were both the same price and distance away from me, the probably the Pepsi.

Diet pepsi, NOT pepsi max, they're not the same thing!

The diet stuff contains a chemical called aspartame (aka Nutrasweet) which is allegedly linked to Parkinsons Disease (Michael J Fox has that and used to endorese Diet Pepsi, interesting, but there is a more scientific page somewhere on the web)

That chemical is also in most dilting orange.

That takes care of the diet issue

Now to the brands... well Michael Jackson endorsed Pepsi, so...

Vanilla Coke > Pepsi > Coke

I don't touch the diet muck (incl Pepsi Max)

    Pepsi is vastly superior.

I'm shocked  with all this pepsi talk...

    Coke is by far better!

and none of that diet cr*p.

I prefer Coke myself, although will drink Pepsi if Coke was unavailable.

and I will not drink any of the diet version of the colas. It just feels wrong.

Anyway, has anyone else tried the new Coke with Lime yet(not diet Coke)?

I find that a good measure of Bacardi seems to improve either product :D

Well I would have drank on average of 2 liters of coke up until june/july, Iv cut down since, but when I got a bottle of the other stuff when there was no coke in the shop it lasted for 3 days. Rotten stuff that pepsi is, rotten!!!!!!!!!

    has to be coke.

    pepsi is rank.
there does seem to be alot of pepsi talk despite the fact that coke is way ahead on the pole.

    as of this post:

    Coke 26 56.52%
    Diet Coke 6 13.04%

so coke totaL: 69.56% , the clear winner

The stuff with lemon or lime is bitchin' if you ask me. Pepsi with lemon was nice but I think it was discontinued.
