    Yes there's a freshers ball, but freshers week has been crap in the past years. The SU couldn't organise a pissup in a guinness brewery.

    Most colleges have it during first term though. Trinitys the only place I know that has it before the start of term.

    This is the website from last year... http://ditsu.ie/freshers ... Was ok... But considering that NUIM have Calvin Harris for their freshers week, ours pale in comparison...

    Just to vent, DIT claim to have one of the biggest SU in the country, yet still cant throw a decent night out???
