Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting my wireless card up and going on XP.

I bought this wireless B card of a guy on boards. I got my laptop
today and slotted it in and ran the driver. It all went sweet but
when the connection was created there was no mention of wireless
anything! I seem to have made a connection with nothing and the
laptop doesnt seem to recognise the card as a "Wireless card"
and just calls it a 802.11 PC card. I cant right click and see availabe
    wireless networks or anything?

My brother who usually does this stuff for me is away for 3 weeks

So im going to need help to get me lappy ag running

Basically i need to find out how to set up my laptop wirelessing to an
existing wireless network between the main PC anorhter wirelss lappy
    and then mine.

    Many thanks ;)

The 802.11 PC Card is your wireless network card. Depending on the software you installed it might have disabled the XP wireless setup and replaced it with its own. Have a look under the all programs list for an new software that might be linked to the new wireless card. Do you know if there is any security setup on the Access Point?

Yea but the program associated with it is useless  It says
aload of crap and then says scanning. But nothing happens and
    there is no signal!

I've pointed it to infrastrcure and all the necessary stuff but it's useless!

    Thanks for your help!
