    Whats wrong with this?

    (dek@hontas):~ > cat /etc/hosts.deny

    # hosts.deny This file describes the names of the hosts which are
    # *not* allowed to use the local INET services, as decided
    # by the '/usr/sbin/tcpd' server.

    # The portmap line is redundant, but it is left to remind you that
    # the new secure portmap uses hosts.deny and hosts.allow. In particular
    # you should know that NFS uses portmap!

    #daemon : hosts : boobytrap
    #===========================================================================
    ALL EXCEPT in.fingerd : ALL : (/usr/sbin/safe_finger -l @%h | /bin/mail -s %d-%h dek) &

    (dek@hontas):~ > tcpdchk -v
    Using network configuration file: /etc/inetd.conf

    >>> Rule /etc/hosts.allow line 9:
    daemons: ALL
    clients: 136.201. .ul.ie LOCAL
    access: granted

    >>> Rule /etc/hosts.deny line 12:
    daemons: ALL EXCEPT in.fingerd
    clients: ALL
    error: /etc/hosts.deny, line 12: bad option name: "(/usr/sbin/safe_finger"
    access: denied
