Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone been following this one?
It's basically about this fella, Danny Wallace, who decides to start up his own country which is located entirely within his own apartment.
The series follows him around as he meets different people and decides how he's going to run the country.

A very funny series, he just seems to be having a bit of a laugh and there's some hilarious moments in it.

    It's on BBC2 on wednesday at 11.20pm.

    More info here!

he's the guy who did "join Me" where he started his own cult. also an associate of Dave Gorman who carrys out similar capers (like living his life entirely according to newspaper astrology columns)

I only caught a bit of it, but it looked good. I've been a fan of Wallace since I read "Are you Dave Gorman?", where himself and Dave went off finding people called Dave Gorman.

It's a brilliant idea for a series, but like a lot of that new UK Docu-tainment, it's more of an ego-vehicle for the film-maker.

It should be called "Hi, I'm Danny Wallace, love me, need me, validate me".

See also that Reuniting the Cast of Grange Hill one-off on CH4, great idea, tosser for a presenter.

I used to know a Dave Gorman, I met him playing a game of 'Find the Dave' or something, basically we were trying to fing as many Daves by association as possible.
There were probably narcotics involved, hence the scarcity of detail and general humourlessness.
