Using pictures from other sites?

Hey,

I was just wondering the legality side of things for using pics from other site/ images from google (which goes hand in hand).

Is the best thing to do to get in contact with somebody from the site and ask if you can use their images?


Also, does anybody have any links to good sites with free pics. I've googled for a few but none seem very good.

Unless they images have a license that allows you to just use them.

The following have images with Creative Commons licenses. Take care to check just what license they have - in particular they may be free for non-commercial projects, or for projects which are released under a similar license.

Use the rule that unless you have in writing permission to use the image then you cannot use the image.
