    Guys/gals

Looking for a set of helper springs for a 95 seat cordoba diesel (bangernomics)
have googled and cant see anywhere in Ireland. I am also reliably informed that the springs from an old renault 4 van will do the trick, Anyone know where such a thing might be found?

Scrap yard could easily have either, there's good one out near kilcock that has a good range. The cordobas of that age would almost certainly have the same stuff as the VW Polo saloon and possibly even the Ibiza and Polo hatchbacks, maybe skoda felicias too. They may even have a lot of the same parts as the VW Caddy and Seat Inca vans.

To get to that scrap yard, go into kilcock village and go over the big bridge over the canal, when you get to the bottom of the bridge turn in to the left, it looks kind of like you're pulling into a car park, but it is actually a road which stretches off to your right. Follow that for a couple of miles, you'll go around a 90 degree right hand bend and over a bridge over the motorway. A bit after the bridge you'll see a barn/wharehouse coming up on your left, I think it's either dark grey or maybe brown. The entrance to the scrap yard is opposit it to your right (you won't see it untill you're right on top of it). They've a good range of VW/Seat/Skodas (and Audis which use some of the same parts too).
