Halo 2 Splitscreen

where is the goddam setting to change this vertical splitscreen crap ? does anyone know why sometimes on differet tvs and different xboxes with different copies of halo that this happens ? it's beyond me at this stage !! it's driving me crazy cause i can't play it vertically , can't see enough.

Halo 2 changes the splitscreen to horizontal or vertical depending on if your xbox is set to widescreen display or not. Go into the bios i.e. tunr the xbox on with no game in it and change the ratio to 4:3 or 16:9, whichever it isn't set to at the moment. Why Bungie didn't just include an option to change it is beyond me.

I had the same problem the other day, it was annoying the hell out of me going through all the menus.
