come to the UK, you cant throw a barstool for the amount of draught stella taps in every bar :)

but pales in comparison to some of the ales over here. fantastic stuff.
definately the amber of fat people... :)

Miller all the way for me. Pints, bottles, cans.... it's all good.
I'm not too fussy when it comes to the old lager. I'll have whatever's going in a pinch. I'm quite partial to Stella and Carling as well.

    Drink pints of Guinness only.
Bottle of Tiger if only bottles available or Grolcsh. I would drink most things except for Harp and Cider !!!

Carslberg for me. Also partial to pints of Stella when you can get it on draught, but the only pub in my town with Stella on draught sells crap pints - not just Stella but all the pints in there are muck

  • Registered Users Posts: 693 ✭✭✭merlinsmerryman

Miller is definately the one :D ,but if I cann't get that Stella is also good and if by chance there's somewhere tht has neither Bub but I agree that it is a bit funny some places it's beautiful others it tastes like foot juice. If it's a bottle Tiger beer or Corona rule but dangerous drink(Tend to lash back bottles) Spirits vodka and bacardi and baby guiness all good :D

Heineken would be mine in the pub, though I find it can vary from pub to pub. Maybe bottle of Stella or San Miguel in the nightclub. Becks alcoholic from a bottle out of a fridge is probably my all time favourite. :D

Buckfast is the real drink of kings though!!!

Bud, carlsberg and coors light are all horrible beers.

Nicest beers in the world are to be found in belgium, hence my visiting there every 6 months. Duvel:

A god among beers. Real beer-connoisseur stuff.. If you don't like it, you didn't pour it right!

got to be Natural (Natty) Ice Light. lost nearly a stone & 1/2 living on this stuff for 3 months last year. no hangovers and it was cheap as chips. about $12 for 24 cans.

Light ice beer? So basically it's 50 cents for a can of water then?

If we are talking Beers available in Ireland then my favourite would be pints of Miller followed in a close second by pints of Erdinger(I love weisbeer but the price puts it in second).

My all time favourite beer is a Munich beer called Augustiner. It is sold by the litre in a the Augustiner Bierhalle( Beer hall) in Munich and it is just bliss. Absolutely no hangover whatsoever.

    Honourable mentions also for:
    Hoffbrau (Munich beer)
and teh 2 Belgian beers mentioned earlier Jupiler (which i bought by the keg) and Duvel.

We really need to start getting some nice beers in this country. they are just horrible compared to the beers available on the continent

Favourite beers of all time: Beogradsko, Rammstein Dunkelweisse, Porterhouse Red, a fresh pint of Guinness or Becks (only available in Dublin/Bremen)

In an Irish pub: Erdinger, Guinness, Heineken (depending on how I feel and availablily)

To the man who said he liked English ales, I agree wholeheartedly - but they give a hangover second to none! Your ass is burning for a week after a hard night on the ale!

I'm generally a Stella or occasionally Miller drinker, but I've recently become very partial to a good pint of Hoegardeen (sp?) with a slice of lime.

Totally knockin' back the Delerium Tremens, Aventinus and Krusovice these days. But, y'know, Guinness when I can't get those.

If I had my way, and could get it, I'd be knockin' back the Ottakringer and Flensburger Gold.

Windhoek Lager from Namibia by choice - difficult to get round here...

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is great and you can get it round here

Corona with slice of lime on a bloody hot summers day (OK a mildly warm day will have to do)

Favourite beer is Hoegaarden, really distinctive taste. Oh and Corona Extra...
