    Hi folks
I had a few days off last week.
I took off to Ballina in Co Mayo. Naturally I had a plane tucked in the back of the car.
Lots of rain, but sure enough, the sun popped out for a while and like a shot I was out and flying in a new flying place.
    Woo Hoo !

Even had a Kestrel come flying over to take a look at my flying wing!

I just posted some of the nicer pics on my webpages.
That's Nephin and Lough Conn way off in the distance.
If you want to take a look go here ....

and look in the gallery section.

    Cheers
    :D

    Flat field .... It's about 10 mins a flight, that's a guess .
I know that from the slope the first 2 flights (timed) was a total of 50 mins, so average 25 mins a flight there. To fly it from the flat field the engine has to be on a higher throttle, so it's a shorter duration - it feels like 10 mins, I'll time it to see.

BTW it's not €75, more like €50, some went into the sale at €52, it was one of those. But I put a geared motor inside, so the engine was about €30 instead of €8, so that used up the savings. It flies much better as a result. I think it would have been underpowered on the recommended setup, and the flights would have been shorter too.
