Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I cannot run defrag in XP home. The message is "Windows cannot open the file dfrg.msc". In fact I cant run anything with extension .msc.

The file c:\windows\system32\mmc.exe does exist but when I run it an empty console comes up saying "there are no items to show in this view".

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

    regards

If you right-click on the My Computer on your Desktop and select Manage from the popup menu, does the Computer Management application appear? If so, you should be able to run the Disk Defragmenter from there. It is located under the Storage control in the left pane.

    Run mmc.
Go to "File", "Add or Remove Snap-in". In the dialog box, clikc the "Add" button, and select "Disk Defragmenter" from the list.

    See if that works.
