Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

IwW Gym War 5 Report: NWA Ireland invade, SOS v Vinny v Viper

    The following is a report of one of the most packed, exciting Gym Wars, or shows ever experienced in Irish Whip Wrestling history:

    *Eamonn Darcy introduced the show and informed the fans that unfortunately the expected guest who had been invited to the show (NWA Ireland's Adam Abz) had failed to turn up as promised.

    *The Heretic Society (Red Vinny & Forbes Kelly) defeated Bam Katrazz and Bingo Ballance when Forbes hit Katrazz with a Heretic Destroyer (i.e. a Canadian Destroyer)

    *Adam Abz, Paddy 'Suicide Machine' Morrow and NWA Ireland owner, Paul Treacy showed up at Frontier Gym and upon their arrival stared down the participants of the opening match. Abz entered the ring and ran down the crowd, who he called Internet geeks. He dared any member of the IwW locker room to confront him, and the locker room emptied out, but were restrained from entering the ring. 'The Ladies Hero' Dave Zero however broke away from the pack, entered the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Abz. He yelled at Abz for disrespecting IwW, "the best wrestling company in Ireland" and pointed out that while Abz claims to hate the entertainment side of pro-wrestling, he still dressed up like a mark in a Carlito wig at a recent WWE house show. Abz responded by poking fun at Zero's 'fake' American accent and saying that Zero is exactly the type of reason that he hates other Irish wrestling. He says that he has brought gear to the show and is looking to wrestle if need be, and Zero is the perfect opponent. He then said that to prove that this is not a work to anyone who thinks it is, he will shoot on Zero tonight and left as Zero had to be restrained by IwW officials.

    *The Ballymun Bruiser defeated Super Speedo with The Wicked Dream

    *Marty Gore defeated 'The Sensation' Sean South by submission

    *Mad Man Manson & Steve Mulligan defeated Blagger Boys #1 & #3 when Mulligan hit a Frog Splash

    *'The Ladies Hero' Dave Zero defeated Adam Abz by disqualification when Paddy Morrow interfered. During the match, Morrow constantly interfered and laid Zero out with a kick that caused him to start vomiting in and around the ring. Afterwards, the two beat down Zero only for Vic Viper to run down and cause the NWA Ireland stars to back off. Abz pleaded for Paul Treacy to allow Viper challenge NWA Ireland Heavyweight Champion Paddy Morrow at the next NWA show and Treacy agreed. IwW owner Simon Rochford gave Viper his backing and the match was set. The NWA Ireland crew then left Frontier Gym.

    *'S.O.S.' Seamus O'Shaunessy defeated 'The Heretic' Red Vinny (w/Forbes Kelly) & Vic Viper in a Triple-Threat Match after hitting Vinny with a Death Vally Driver to become Number One Contender to D'Lo Brown's IwW International Championship. Vic Viper was distracted in a brawl resulting from Forbes Kelly's interference and reacted angrily to the result.
