Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all,

i have smart bb installed and the aolynk router is bloody crap & isn't wireless. somebody suggested the linksys wag54gs or wag354g as in the argos catalog. is it any good? have used wrt54g in the past

would i need a modem/router or just a router as smart is adsl2+?

last question, somebody also mentioned that there's a computer shop near euston station that sells them cheaper. can any1 tell me where the shop is & their website?

    cheers

Well you could turn the smart modem into a bridge (Search the broadband forum for instructions for this), which will handle the ADSL2+ side of things.

Then just make sure you get a wireless router capable of PPPoE and you can plug that into the modem.

Or, as you say, find a modem/wireless router combo thatll do adsl2+.

I have a similar issue in that I had purchases a sweex modem\router in anticipation of getting smart BB. I should have this soon but would anyone here know if this is adsl 2+ compatible? I have e-mailed sweex a few days ago but no word yet. Thanks for any help you could offer
