I broken my 8G limit for the first time. I'm so proud. :D

Its only showing about 10G at the moment though, but the stats page has been showing a load of rubish for most of the month so far.

Heh, this reads like a poll on PI about who's lost their virginity.

I've gone some ridiculous level over.

2gb left today on 24gb cap.

Theres an option to suspend the account when it goes over the limit, for some reason it was set to bill for overuse though, thats what makes it worse. I thought it was set to disable account when I went over as usual so I was downloading for sport yesterday. Fuming

Im thinking of going to Eircom at least they dont charge for going over.

Well it was 232GBytes and back in 2001.

I wonder what type of connection/download amount that person is capable of these days???

Still that letter was clearly automated and that ISP better not expect  payment  anytime soon :D:D .

Think about it people, some of the worst overdownloaders in Ireland frequent the broadband section and if we can only get into the 40-50GB region on 2Mbit connections...then the BB ISP's have very little to worry about.

why? I think 40-50 is a lot when you have 16GB cap

I think you missed his point, i think he is saying that 40-50Gb for a month on a 2Mb connection is quite low when you take into account what the line could download in a month if let rip, in the region of 640Gb. It is low concidering you could rack this up in a week quite easily.

reached 21gig -my limit - after 2 weeks og august, went 2 gig over for the remainder og the month, eircom business starter

oh yes, now I get it :)

you are right zuma, 50gigs is nothing for a 2meg line
