Calling Spain from USA

My brother (who is in the US with a US mobile) would like to call the folks while they are on holiday in Spain. Dad has a Vodafone postpaid mobile, and will obviously be roaming. What is the best way for them to contact each other (without either of them being totally screwed)? - Dave.

Buy a prepaid call card in any gas station (heh) for €20 you get about 50 minutes a mobile or 3 hours to a landline in Europe.

Theres tonnes of cards so having a good read of each will tell you whats best.

Cant recall the exact one i used but it was 50 minutes/3 hours for €20
