Leaving comments in blogs

    I'm having trouble leaving comments in blogs. Maybe I'm just demonstrating my stupidity here - but I leave my name, a valid email address and copy the URI trackback for this entry into the URI box, enter my comment, hit say it, and tada - no comment is added.
    This applies to other people's blogs and mine too - I can't leave a comment in my own blog when not logged in either - I can't tell you whether I can comment in my own blog when logged in because I'm waiting for a new password (because it seems you can't change the password given to you, I keep forgetting them)

    I've also noticed I have no comments on my blog either, since the change of system...

    Perhaps the problem is the trackback URI. I usually just leave URI fields blank when I comment, what with not currently having a site and all.

    Tried that too - doesn't appear to make any difference whatever....

    Log into your Blog admin section, go to Manage - Awaiting Moderation (). Comments must be approved by the blog owner before they're published.

    Ahhh - I seeeee! I'll try to see if I can disable that on my blog because I keep forgetting my password so I only log in once in a blue moon.

    Mine's been disabled I think. No one has commented since I tried to remove it though, so I don't know. And no, I won't comment on my own blog.

    so not everybody has the blog yet, if I understand that page correctly, ie. given periodcally to subscribers and Mods only?
