Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bray Wanderers striker Eamon Zayed has completed his surprise move to Norwegian club Aalesund FK.

The former Republic of Ireland U-21 international flew to Oslo today to sort out the eight-week loan deal.

Reports in Norway have indicated that Aalesund have agreed a €50,000 deal for Zayed's services until the end of October and have first option to buy the player should the move turn out to be a success.

The highly rated marksman, who had a spell on loan at Crewe Alexandra last year and rejected an offer to join the New York Metro Stars last January, after a successful trial, has netted 12 times for the Seagulls this season in the Premier Division.

Hardly bad news, 50k for 8 weeks, they are almost certainly going to be relegated in which case he goes back to Bray.

This is always going to happen when an agent owns and manages the club.
(Pat Devlin) Duffs agent and also agent to a lot of players in the league, IMO what he is doing is far worse than Dolans involvement in Doyles move to England

I wouldn't be so sure about them being relegated. They are only 2 points behind Tromso in 11th place and have just as good a defensive record as most teams. Just have problem scoring which is why they got Zayed.

Pats offered 40k to buy him they wanted 60k his was for a transfer so to get 50 for 8 weeks loan for player who wants to go is fantastic. When he comes backs they sell him to Shels for a 100k or somfin.

i think devlin has done a brilliant bit of business and i think the above comment reflects to what will happen when eamonn returns and he will return

But to be fair it makes perfect sense for the club to """"" Loan """" the player like this for 50k and tehn upon his return sell him for 100k or close to that makes more sense then sell him for 60k straight up !
