Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

NWA Ireland Title on the line in Inter-promotional match in Bray on Sept 18th.

In a move never before seen in NWA Ireland history a competitor from a non-NWA organisation will have the oppertunity to win the NWA Ireland Title.

NWA Irelands Adam Abz had been challended to turn up at IWW's Gym War Show last Sunday Evening for an in-ring interview with Eamon D'arcy. Abz turned up accompanied by NWA Ireland Champion Paddy Morrow and co-owner Paul Tracey. Abz' in-ring interview was cut short by IWW's Dave Zero and a very heated exchange between the two took place which resulted in an impromtu match between the two later in the show.

The match was more like a fight than a wrestling watch with both wrestlers grounding and pounding each other with little use of the ropes. Morrow who accompanied Abz to the ring constantly interfered in the match on behalf of Abz at various stages and at one point kicked Zero's ribs on the outside causing injury. The finish occured when Abz called Morrow into the ring and the two NWA stars attacked Zero. Zero won the match by disqualification but Abz and Morrow continued their attack. This brought IWW's Vic Viper to the ring to stop the NWA assault on the IWW star.

What followed next was unexpected. Morrow and Abz were annoyed at this point and Abz asked NWA Ireland Co-owner Paul Traceys permission for Vic Viper to challenge Paddy 'Suicide Machine' Morrow for the NWA Ireland Title in Bray on September 18th. Tracey initially looked surprised but agreed to the proposal. Abz then turned his attention to IWW Owner Simon Rochford who looked equally as stunned as Tracey but who also agreed to the match. So on September 18th the match will take place. It will be NWA Ireland Champion Paddy 'Suicide Machine' Morrow defending against IWW's Vic Viper. Neither of NWA Irelands Co-owners Paul Tracey or Fergal Devitt have been available for comment but one thing looks to be clear - the fued between NWA Ireland and Irish Whip Wrestling looks to be a long way from being over.
