Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    In IE
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

    MaxConnectionsPerServer REG_DWORD (Default 2)
Sets the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.1 Server

    MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server REG_DWORD (Default 4)
Sets the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.0 Server

Look up the keys in the registry and change the values.

    In Firefox
Enter about:config in the address bar.

Search for and change the value of network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server

Be warey that some servers may not allow more than the current number of connections from a single client (the default numbers are the recommended maximums as set out by the protocol specifications).

you can use XpAntiSpy to change the number of connections in IE - saves having to use regedit.
