Good Web Template

Hi,
I am looking to create a website ( and yes I want to cheat). I was looking through these trheads and saw simple but nice sites like http://www.alistapart.com/ and I was hoping to do something along those lines.

So basically I was wondering if there are any templates I can edit to use. I would ideally like a big colelction to choose from. I am no html expert, but would know enough to get by.

if you use something like WordPress, there are LOADS of very good free templates to go with it

TBH, you're better off paying a minimal fee for one. I use www.4templates.com, and they only cost abut $25, which is about €22.

Not bad if you think about the freedom it gives you when you're not worrying about design. Freedom to wash socks like..
