OK basicly, I bought a car 1 month ago whose NCT ran out 6 months ago.

When I go to NCT it next week, will i be given a 2 year cert from:
    a) the date the NCT ran out
    b) the time I bought it
    c) the date i bring it in for NCT

If its A, can I 'back nct' it, by this I mean like Back Tax, proving that I didnt own it until such a date so that I Can avail of option B?

It works from the anniversary of first registration, so 2 years from the date it ran out.

Isn't there a scheme for getting it done early i.e if you go before the cars next anniversary you get from now 'till its date of registration AND then 2 years ??
