What to buy??

I've 13 -14k to spend on a car, thinking of vectra toledo or a primera.
just want a good car to get to and from work with space for kids in the back.
What do you people in the know suggest I test drive.

I would pass on the Vectra but try out the other two. They would suit your needs. From my own experience of car buying you know when you sit in it. Good luck .

Is it petrol or diesel you want?
Never had much to do with a petrol Toledo but the diesel's excellent from what I see when I drive the parents car. They're a VW clone so no problems with reliability or much that way. Haven't had much to do with a diesel or petrol Primera so won't bother commenting on them

I'd definately reccomend an Accord. I bought an older one a while ago and am going to go for a relativel new one in the near future, lovely car to driv eand very reliable.

Go For an Skoda Octavia well Smart car & as Reloyable as hell & you would get a second hand one for around that price also The Accord is a decnet Motor & you mite be lucky to get a passat second hand in that range but I mean Lucky

I agree with SixShot...Octavia is the way to go. I bought a second hand one recently...1.6 GLXi (Petrol) with enough boot space to play indoor soccer in!
Fine solid cars...cheaper than the Pasatt.
