On Friday, September 2nd, artist Mary Coble will subject herself to a marathon tattoo session that could make a career Marine wince. Beginning at 6 p.m. and likely continuing until dawn the next day, a tattoo artist will etch 400 names of victims of the nation's gay, bisexual and transgender hate crimes into the artist's back, legs and arms

There's no ink in the gun though so she'll just have temp scars with the names of those murdered from hate crimes.

    100 or 400?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Conflicting reports. 100 murders/deaths and maybe the 400 are victims either killed or injured.

Okay - sorry for being pedantic - just noticed you said 400 but the link said 100
