That's fairly true. Simple, basic Irish will suffice for most of the oral. But the thing is to LEARN the basic stuff. I can't believe how many people in my class have simply ignored they orals completely and now they are panicking like mad! Ah well, each to their own and all that...

You should be concentrating fullly on Orals at the moment. Remember it's about 50 points in the leaving.

I haven't done a thing, like a thing for the Irish oral. My French one is going good, but I couldn't care less about the Irish one.

It's shocking how much my attitude towards Irish has changed in the last few months

I'm actually nervous about the Irish Oral since I've no idea how to say:

1878 in Irish

and 19 u hais deag is that like naoi deag u haois deag agghh

They're in the sliochts so I'll need to know how to pronounce them...can any one help?

But those are only the least of my worries - I can barely speak Irish

I only spent an hour studying for the Irish Oral today and don'y intend on getting much more than that on Monday...I should be studying now.
It sucks having to stay in for the weekend. I'm being examined first thing Monday morning!
