Then patiently wait for a mod to have a chance to deal with it.

Unfortunately voluntary mods tend not to provide 24 hour coverage for their forums.

Those questions on that thread look valid imho btw.

There was a lot of spammy comments in that thread, especially from Hagar. Uncalled for really. Why weren't the flamers banned and their posts deleted instead of closing the thread? Maybe Poblachtach shouldn't have responded to their comments and just reported them?

Boards notifications haven't been working over the last few days, at least not for some of us, so I never received any reported posts from you.

P.S. Those binoculars are $hite, they aren't proper night vision and they certainly aren't 'High tech' or worth anywhere near 100 euro each. They're worth 30 at most. I got proper night vision binoculars that are battery powered for 100 euro. You should be banned for being a chancer TBH.

a) Knows nothing about binoculars, nevermind night vision ones.

or

b) Is pretending to be a)

Either way, I'd agree with a permenant ban. It's illegal to misdescribe goods to the extent that he did. Be it intentional or not, it's not acceptable imho.

I reported him for the same stuff Blade outlined and coz I reckoned the more I read the more I though he was misleading people. The thread is hilarious though, Hagar had me in stiches then sombody posted up about the laptop with a republican wallpaper, that was priceless

It's funny because it's true! I swear on my life that actually happened. Everything else was deleted from the laptop but there was wallpaper trying to promote some guy who wanted to get elected as a Sinn Fein councillor. I bought the laptop from the boards.ie For Sale forum - he had a photo of it where you could see the wallpaper I'm talking about but the thread is probably long gone.

Anyway if you want to own that little bit of boards.ie history I'll be giving it away free with my desktop pc which will be advertised shortly in the For Sale forum
